All our high quality base reef rock is hand-picked, and selected from a private quarry located in Florida. Each piece is then perfectly sized, shaped, and cleaned, by our experienced on site staff. No matter what size tank you may be trying to build, we have only the highest of quality rock you may need to build your perfect seascape.
Reef base rock is made up of a calcium carbonite and limestone structured aragonite based rock.This rock will not leach any unwanted contaminants that may throw off your water balance. This natural rock will give your tank a near perfect balance within twenty four hours of it being submerged. All Reef Rock is 100% clean, pest free, and pre cured
We also recommend about two pounds of base rock per every one volume gallon of water. This will supply enough structure for that perfect habitat. You will find our rock very easy to stack, to create that perfect seascape. No need for any glue or mortors.
